Finally got around to reading it, cover to cover. Excellent! I did go to Ace and bought some wax meantioned in tips. I already had more than I will ever use, but... I bought the wax mentioned. Very, very sticky. I wouldn't put it on your finger. I usually just put some on my tying bench, where this is, and i run the thread thru it. Regardless, more wax in this box than could be used in several lifetimes.

Not a joke. I read about this somewhere in the past as well.

The third issue arrived here too, I especially am looking forward to the October caddis article. The flies look great.

I just noticed the wax.tip was "authored" by Petey Laphroaig, ...

I received my copy as well.
Lance Hidy did a great piece on my favorite flymph, the Honey Dun.
I get great satisfaction tying and fishing the flymph patterns on the same waters as Pete Hidy did.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner Dubbin, but looks like Dale gave you the link to the toilet seat wax. Only downside for me is that it is very soft, but you get a boatload that will last forever.

My copy arrived yesterday. Another great issue. Really liked the information and photo in Lance article. Looking forward to diving into the OC article. One of my favorite hatches to fish.
