Rodger, Good to hear from you, but sorry to hear of the injury. And you too Bob.
I am a believer in wading staffs too. I have the segmented metal ones that fit into a holster.

You guys need to join me in Florida. You can wade out a half mile and nothing but knee deep flat sand. :D No real trout though, just spotted sea trout.

Really though, sorry to hear about all the tumbles and set-backs.
I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.
