Played around for about 80 minutes under partly cloudy skies with a 3 fly Bling cast this afternoon . Green Drake Bling as the top fly, trailed by the Brown Drake Bling and then a Glitzy Pink Lady on point.

There was no hatch going on and only an occasional mayfly, caddis or midge in the air. No surface activity except for a small Rattle Snake crossing the river.
The first Rainbow to hand took the Green Drake, the next was a Brown on the Brown Drake. The most activity was on the point fly which was the first fly exposed to the fish as I two stepped swinging down river.
It was generally taking smaller fish than the Drakes. I landed 6 fish in the 6-9 " range and LDR'd as many more. Numerous bumps on the swing as well.

Great report. Nice to know the bling brings them in. Man, I miss that kind of water.

:D Good stuff!

What a lovely stretch of water. How deep does it get?
