I agree, it would be really cool, but the problem with the history of fly fishing in general is that it's only a history of what's been written about fly fishing, not what's actually been practiced. I suspect the written record of pre-European fly fishing in the Americas is pretty much non-existent.
Yes, but Native American History is still well preserved verbally just not written. One would have to write based on verbal communication.
