dd, Howdy;

Thanks for the video... Love his style of doing things...
Simple, easy to understand, and no fancy extras.

Funny you put that video on here. I watched it myself this morning. I subscribe to all his new videos. In fact, I have never made a Red Fox Squirrel Nymph before, and I am going to do that tomorrow. I have been doing a little nymph work myself. Common flies, but good ones. This is not my realm of expertise, but I am working on it. I made a Pheasant Tail Nymph, and a Gold Rib Hare's Ear. This was going to be the 3rd pattern. I love Davie's work. He makes it all look so easy.

I had watched this three days ago when the discussion on nymphs was raised. I was having trouble getting the hackle the right length and had forgotten the simple 'trick' dave used when gaging his feather. Excellent video. I just have to listen very hard to get all that information. Love his website.

Here is an ugly fly by this mean tier. As always, the devil is in the details. So much to learn...

Yes Hank, he is a master and there is always something to learn.

Thank you for the happy, happy. You're early, it's almost a year left.
