Nice instructional video Hans, but you should have let the ink dry....... that purple look on your fingers can be a new fashion statement. :D

Guess it is a thread control and practice thing, but I just cannot get good results trying to hand whip finish. Practice- practice- practice......... ;)

Your a natural teacher Hans. Well done. Wish I had seen this years ago, when I was learning to do this from a book. This would have shortened my learning curve considerably...

Hans, Howdy;

Like that you slowed it down and kept all the pretty feathers and wires, other stuff
out of the picture. I see how difficult it was for you to do this in sslloooowww motion
when you are so used to doing the knot at your regular speed. Thank you very much for taking
the time to do this...

Mataura Mayfly, Hans will be one to tell you as he did me that it's not practice so much as it must be
perfect practice that makes it perfect.. hope I got that right.

Hank, I do remember reading that reply from Hans somewhere, but I feel it is more to do with me being impatient, a bad listener/learner and being right brained as well as tying right handed...... I think (and write) left handed, do most things right handed but a few things I can do just as badly with both! :o

But it is an excellent uncluttered tutorial offered to us by a master tier, taught to a class of many, thanks to digital video and the internet. For that we can all be thankful.
