Nice variation of an old favourite of the larger UK. A style of patterns that never really caught hold here.

Hans, must ask...... do you have a cold? Or have you changed audio recorders or editing? The last couple of videos, your voice sounds a couple of octaves deeper. :D

My sympathies Sir. Plenty of Whiskey, honey and warm water mixed in equal amounts in a large glass....... cures anything......... eventually.

Hans, Howdy;

Beautiful fly, as usual !!!

Only thing I can think of to add to Jeff's advise is
Brew a large mug of your tea of choise to add the
whiskey and lemon and the juce of 1/2 a lemon.
Eventually you'll feel better :D , :lol:

An excellent video Hans.
The "Kate MacLaren" is great and very popular fly in Scotland.
A couple of books by Stan Headley, "The Flies of Scotland", and "The Loch Fisher's Bible".
The first book contains flies for River and Loch.
The second is probably the best contemporary book on Loch Style Fishing.
Both highly recommended. "Kate MacLaren" with variations is well represented in both books. :D ;)
