A great place to discuss various patterns and tying methods for wingless wet flies, Yorkshire spiders, Flymphs and other patterns tied with soft hackles.

If you join two spools of silk, with a dowel with a length a bit less than their width, you can use an ordinary bobbin holder. It is then possible to use one of the silks at a time - or both, if you want to create your own jasper or maybe a Watchet.
