John, We recently had a large walnut tree lose a major branch during a storm. We had it milled into planks for one of the guys to build some gun stocks. I grabbed a few off cuts to make some spinning blocks and could send one to you unless you want to make your own. PM me with your address and i'll get one to you if you would like. It's beautiful wood.

That would be nice, thinking Osage Orange would be pretty also. I have a piece from a broken long bow around here somewhere. I'll have to find it.

Osage orange leads me to Black Locust. I've got two pieces of birdseye maple that have been earmarked for blocks; I guess I should get to it...
