That is a nice pattern.
I think most of us have played with the material at some stage or another.
I think oldhat is the guy you might want to be talking to. From memory he has developed quite a few body quill patterns, some by twisting different colours of the material in to a rope and wrapping them on the hook shank.

It is a good material for adding a bit of glitz to a pattern. Is finer than most wires and tinsels, so makes a nice ribbing material for smaller sizes.

John, this pattern will fish great. I love quill bodies with game hackles. Such a nice attractor and a killer imitation. The Hends quill bodies I have not fooled with yet, but I've seen lots of nice patterns and several folks singing their praises. Something maybe I'll correct this winter as I find my way to a show or two.
