Ray, below is a wingless wet I tied using the shoulder feather from one of my Cabela's mallard wings. Also, I used purple silk thread with the Sulky purple tinsel ribbing and black squirrel with Antron dubbing for the thorax.

Macro photography shows us older guys that what our eyes see as a smoothly taper body ain't so. :lol:
