Ok everyone- update on this pattern. Fished them today. The moose mane is not durable when chewed on by trout! This needs probably a few coats of Sally Hanson’s or varnish or UV stuff. Just in case anyone was going to tie these.. definitely cost the moose with something. They caught lots of rainbows today, but the strands of moose broke right off and had to trim off. They fly still worked without the moose though!

Thanks for the update. Glad they worked out well for you. I am a bit surprised that the moose wasn't more durable though.
