I just like the looks of a sparsely tied partridge feather. The do as well!

No sir. That is a Classic Era Heddon #35, light trout action. The Classic Era was considered 1933-1938. Possibly a 96-year-old rod! Like Capt. Gus said in Lonesome Dove: “The older the violin, the sweeter the music.”

Yes it is. Those Limerick hooks did a good job of hooking on the swing. Looking forward to fishing this weekend!
