Eagle Claw Hooks
Anyone have any experience with Eagle Claw hooks? Got a package of them pretty cheap for qty. 100.

When I was young I used to use Eagle Claw snelled hooks for bait fishing. Polly Rosborough used Eagle Claw hooks for some of his flies.

My Dad and I used Eagle Claw hooks a lot, years ago. We caught lots of fish with them. No issues to report.

I occasionally use them for streamers. Other than the barb being hard to mash down, I've had no problems with them.

I have used them in scud , streamer, hopper, and emerger hooks with good results.

Very good hooks, underrated IMHO..... also very inexpensive.
I often wondered why Leisenring constantly complained about how hard it was to get good hooks!
