Anyone try Fario hooks like the Fario FBL 301?

Post by bocast » Sat Dec 05, 2020 5:03 pm

I love Kamasan hooks, especially the B175. Recently I came across adverts for a barbless hook patterned after the Kamasan B175. Hs anyone tried the Fario FBL301? I'm skeptical of claims the tempering and strength can compare to my favorite.

Why are Kamasan hooks so tough to get here in the US?

You can get all you want, they’re sold under a different name here: Daiichi.

I have a LOT OF hooks...... for whatever reason, that’s the rabbit hole or you chose to go down once I got done with bamboo rods and hardy reels. There’s a ton of good stuff around if you know where to look. Try the website I mentioned on another thread, you will not be disappointed.
And I will send you some as well.

Thereo, I haven't found a Daiichi hook like the Kamasan B175. Do you know the Daiichi model hook which is the same?
