“Dark Watchet” in a snowstorm

Hook..... Gaelic Supreme. Sz 16
Thread .. Pearsall’s gossamer orange & purple
Body. .... Pearsall’s orange & purple twist dubbed with water rat or pine squirrel
Hackle .. Jackdaw neck hackle
*** The fly has a dusty look due to my dusting my jackdaw skin with borax. No amount of persuasion
allow me to rid it completely.

very nice, I like it just the way it is .
However, It could use a cold water swim, with a back cast snap dry - that will fix it!!

Thanks Dana. She’s already cleaned up. My Jackdaw skin is like a powder puff though. On our next nice day I’ll take it outside and beat the poor bird. Mercy though as we are expecting 4 in of snow Friday.😳
