Black Hare's Ear Plus & Partridge

Post by joaniebo » Thu Mar 18, 2021 10:59 am

Was tying some soft hackles using Natural Hare's Ear Plus dubbing when I saw I had a pack of the Black Hare's Ear Plus dubbing. Decided to do a dozen or so with the black dubbing, a partridge hackle and Mallard flank for the tails.

The epitome of a “catch all” pattern (as in “catch every fish in the stream” pattern).

Dastardly good!

I would happily, gladly, gleefully, fish that pattern all day long. Nicely done.

As stated before, a good looking Stone Fly. I see it doing double duty as an attractor.

Good looking pattern.
