Hi Ray,
Some of the pictures on your posting above did not show up on my screen. It may very well be me or my machine, I am not sure. All that appears is a bar within a circle. Most of the pictures you posted came thru just fine but some did not! I just wanted to let you know!

Thanks Doug. I will fix the pics in the morning. Too tired at the moment, to pull out the computer again. :| :geek:

Top shelf tying, Ray. Glad you decided to do that one.

Thanks Hank. Your comment almost reads a a haiku poetry. Love it! :D ;)

Thanks Bill. I couldn’t resist, after you mentioned tying this pattern.

The version above is tyed according to Gunnar’s recipe.

Experimental Side Note:
Try adding a touch of natural dun-color mole to the dubbing might tone down the blue a bit.

Okay, Ray. My first instinct after seeing your post at 7:30 this morning was to dash off to the tying room to see if I had the materials to dress this fly. No blue hare, but I do have some of Bill Bailey's dyed Kid Goat and Seal that are the perfect shade of blue. That is an impeccably dressed fly and a wonderful SBS.
