Moose & Grizzly
Hook - Nymph/wet style
Thread - Black
Body - Moose mane
Thorax - Black beaver dubbing
Hackle - Grizzly hen
Apply a swipe of crazy glue to the thread wraps before wapping the moose mane or overcoat the body with uv resin
Flytiers sure have a way at making things difficult

nice one norm. When I saw the title it reminded me of Boris saying "moose and squirrel". You should come up with a pattern based on that for us old Rocky and Bulwinkle fans.
Sorry about taking this one off on a tangent. I guess my mom dropped me on my head one too many times when I was young.

Excellent! I've tied a lot dry flies with moose & grizzly. I wonder why I never thought about for wets? Glad you did.

With components like that, it should probably be called “Big Game” (humor/reference to moose and grizzly).
Nice wee wet fly Norman.

			nfrechet, Howdy;
Great fly Norm. Thought someone might have countered your's
with a Moose & Squirrel (said in thick Russian accent ah-la Boris
Baddenoff from Rocky & Bullwinkle fame).

 , couldn't resist
Come-on how many also thought about it???

 +1 !!
Excellent pattern, too..... I like to vary the hook weight with certain patterns. A heavy hook such as the one used here is a nice touch, getting the fly to midwater.
