Another old fly from Robert Smith's The North Country Fly that I have to fish along with my Partridge & Orange variations!

Hook- Dai Riki 070 #14
Thread- Kimono Orange Silk
Hackle- Partridge
Head- Peacock reinforced by tying silk

Swarbrick and others around that time list a Wood Cock feather for the Winter Brown. They should look very similar to the fish. ;)
