IMHO there is not a more elegant soft hacked steelhead wet fly to swing for summer steelhead than a Alec Jackson’s Spade flies !

That is the classic spade style pattern. The one I am thinking about is called a Skykomish Sunrise Spade.

Here is a brighter Ostrich Spade that I tied many years ago, probably in the 90s.

It has the fuller body that Alec thought might be more productive on the steelhead that traveled hundreds of miles to Eastern Oregon and Washington waters. ;) :)
