What can we say... With more150 years as a fishcatcher, A quite experienced fly maybe :D. My absolute favourite spider to fish and tie... Made an SBS on my blog if anyone is intrested. www.mulhonken.blogspot.com

Very nice tie. I've had other tiers tell me that pattern is a "scruffy" looking fly - Until they fish one.

That certainly looks "buggy" -- a very nicely executed version of a much copied pattern.

Yes t2f....."buggy" is the word that comes to mind..........very cool fly. Nik always tyes a great fly.........some day we're gonna get his butt over here to tye at a show.....prefereably the Sowbug. :D :lol:

Hey, CONGRATZ! on the Partridge Pro Team deal........Mark is a wonderful person to deal with, and your very right about him knowing his business, and he's a very good tyer. We got to hang out at Killyleagh last year. REALLY nice guy. If you remember, ask him to give you a package of the Saltwater Shrimp hook CS54.......he gave me a package and they're great for soft hackles. Got a beautiful curve and a straight eye. i bought a bunch of the CS6JP hooks from him again. :lol: Just couldn't help myself........... :roll: :P Best of luck with your team affiliation.
