I promise I'll only post a couple more of these, then I'll start posting some flymphs and softer softies, but I'm just so happy to have my camera out. :)

I, for one, am not yet satiated. Like their predecessors, these are outstanding.

I have recently been ranting on an other BB about posting a picture without a recipe.
With a simple, brilliant fly like this, a recipe is superfluous.
All that is required is the name.
Well done William.

Thank you both. I appreciate the encouragement.

Donald, I'm a simple man. I like to name flies similar to the older generations. Snipe and Purple. No questions necessary.

Thanks again.

These and the others you've posted recently William are simplistic, yet astounding. (if that makes sense ) I just love em anyway.

Dub-ya, Howdy;

This last set of flys that you have posted are (Billy Crystle immating Ricardo Maltalban), "Simply Maaavvvvoolous"

How do you get the wire to stay put instead of following the spool around the shank like a dog chaseing it's tail?

William,
Like their cousin the Gold Hare and Hen, these are fantastic! I know that if I knotted one of these onto my tippet, they would catch fish immediately. I am going to have to toss a couple of these into my box and see what happens. I will let you know! The trouble is getting out there to fish! Too many other events in life happening all at once!
