Hackle: Coq de Leon hen, dark pardo
Tail: Coq de Leon hen, dark pardo
Abdomen: Flashabou strand, opal - wrapped flat over bare shank
Thorax: Pine squirrel underfur

Hans - It looks like you have now completely eliminated the heads on your flies. Is this a new technique you've perfected?

Ray, there most certainly is a head. The head consists of a three turn whip finish over bare shank.

WOW!! That's Amazing=DAMN!!!!! THAT'S SICK!!!!!!!! Prolly be a BLAST! to fish with.........but kinna difficult to come to terns with even getting it wet.....i spose i could force myself. :D Undoubtedly knowin' Hans.....it's already caught dozens of fish..... wish you'd come and do Sowbug again Bro. ;)

The opalescent tinsels can produce some very interesting results,
when wrapped over under-bodies, even plain black thread looks amazing.
