I will post recipe later. I am very open to the recipe. This may be weighted, or un-weighted. Any swimming nymph hook will work fine.

That's simply scrumptious, I know a trout or two that would definitely agree with me. ;)

Pow Wow recipe:
swimming nymph hook size 10-16
tail-hen
reversed hackle-hen
thorax-Steelhead Ice mixed with STS Trilobal Salmon/Steelhead dub (you
do not have to have this, you can go natural instead if you prefer)
ribbing-copper oval rib, or use gold wire/mylar tinsel as substitute
weight-optional, I used lead tape in the mid section
Swim Nymph Dub- I used squirrel, woodchuck, rabbit, hare mixed with a bit of antron, and a bit of flash for the body of the fly

This fly may be any color of your choice. Tan, Brown, Olive, Rusty Orange, Gray, or Black would be recommended colors. You may use whatever hen feather you prefer, or even fur instead of hen feather, if you choose to. I tied this as a weighted fly, but you can tie it un-weighted as well.

Thanks for the positive comments. I appreciate them very much. Mark, I have a few flies with a Native American/Cherokee theme for the name of some of my flies. The name just seemed appropriate to me. I was pleased with this one. Any colors you want, including thorax are fine. I chose a "hot spot", but that is not necessary. Any color for a hot spot that you choose would be just fine, or you can omit the hot spot, and stay natural.

Thankx Kelly.......curiosity satisfied. The fly looks celebratory, so why not. And it very much has a sorta "Tribal" stance to it too. :D i think you've done a magnificent job of commin' up with somethin' very special, unique and orginal here Kelly. You should be very proud of your effort. That's a cool fly. ;)

gotta check the NFL scores again............ :D

Thank you Mark. You know, this came after I have seen people here show off some Tenkara flies. There was discussion on this, and also some very interesting discussion after I made the first two experiments of this fly. So Pow Wow, was kind of like a meeting of the minds so to speak, and a celebration, plus...it is an attention grabber, and I think it is gonna be a great fly to be put the surprise on some fish too. Plus it is another tribute to my Cherokee ancestors, in a small way. (via my mother's side of the family)

Navajo...cool! We knew my mother's grandmother was Native American. But I guess Mom never thought to ask what tribe. It took a while to find out what tribe. No doubt it is Cherokee. Someone in the family put a Cherokee marker on her gravestone. I got the high cheek bones, and I tan very easily, and so does my daughter. My son took on the look of his Scot-Irish blood. I am not sure if you could point out English, German, or someone French. But those are also in my bloodlines. You could see a fly with any of those themed names in the future. :D
