Martin - Beautiful flies and stunning photography! My money is on the shrimp pattern. It just looks so damn "fishy" (sincere compliment).

Just beautiful Martin! And you've just reminded me, I've got to dig out my mallard flank. I love those hackles!

Thanks all. Great to be back, just so many posts to go through. Stunning quality on the forum, don't you think?

By the way. I really need to get better at naming my flies, I mean TAN MALLARD, how cool is that

Martin, wonderful presentation of both flies and photography!

Does the Shrimp use Mallard Hen? I collect a lot of Mallard hen breast and flank over the hunting season...... do not use a lot of it though, your ties are very inspirational though.

Thank you MM!

I think the feathers come from Mallard. I got it from my CdC supplier, will check what it is exacly because I am running out of them. Get back to you.
