Picric olive

Post by Stendalen » Fri Jan 18, 2013 12:38 pm

Dressing
Hook: Partridge spider #12
Thread: Pearsall's Gossamer Amber
Hackle: Partridge dyed picric
Thorax: Bronze peacock hearl
Whisks: Partridge dyed picric
Body: Turkey biot, olive

Really really hard to get the correct olive colour when editing the photos. Help, anyone?

By the way, today i heard from the shop owners that the Partridge spider hook will be discontinued. Strange...

Marvelous fly & photos! To bad about the hook. That is a nice looking iron.

Very well done. Handsome fly.

Martin, almost too damn good looking to be a fishing fly! Very nice, beautifully executed.
