Ron, I added some yarns on white cards, some hen patches (several colors, so the offending hackle could be mine...better that than soil Jeff's fine reputation) and a few other things. Jeff's massive contribution and Ray and Carls sorting, and finally Rays very generous distribution should not be marred by my minor addition to the package. If it seemed unruly, it was probably from me, with my apologies. Jeff's materials were top rate and much appreciated.

Thanks for straightening that out, William and Hank. Jeff, I should have known that your feathers would only be the best behaved. Anyway, now that I have the address the flies will be winging their way from Montana to LA.

I've been having a nice chat with Lance Hidy, who, with his wife, are vacationing here at Campfire Lodge on the Madison.

Zee the flies arrived. This is very exciting. Holding all these flies in one place for a short time is like being midis...handful of gold. After seeing all these beuuuutttties I just might have to retie or give additional options. WOW!

I'm going to put the set I get in a shadowbox for the wall of the tying room. Flies don't have to be pretty, or neat, just representative of that person's tying ability. A show quality fly is the equal of someone's first fly they tied. I think the most creative part of the fly I submitted was the name.

I'm just glad NZ Post and USPS got on together well and I didn't end up being a late delivery, holding up the chain. ;)
I know just what you mean Zen, each swap that comes back is a treasure worthy of framing. I can honestly say I have not fished a fly sent over here by any forum members yet, they are just too special.

I agree. I found Riker mounts are value priced and make a good mount. The creative "name" for my fly is the "red nosed possum".
