My variation on Eric Peper's pattern

Hook - Mustad 3906B, size 18
Thread- Benecchi - 12/0 Olive
Tail- Woodduck flank fibers
Abdomen- Pheasant tail
Rib - XFine copper wire
Thorax - Amber rabbit, Superfine dry fly dubbing Sulfur , Hareline Dubbing in lt. Yellow
Collar - Speckled Brown hen

I will give em a try when the time comes

On the next batch I will use larger copper wire. The XSmall does not show up well on these larger patterns.

Very nicely done, Wayne. This basic pattern has met with much success during sulphur hatches in the East, and I have no doubt that your fine version will be successful on the PMD emergers in your Colorado waters. If Eric fishes it, you know it must be good. BTW, your choice of specked hen for hackle was inspired.

Very nicely done. Use a stout tippet; :-) :)

A flashy pattern variation for an emerger that has worked well for me...
