That's a beautiful little spider. I'd even be willing to bet my little panfish friends would take a liking to it, too.

Is there a small tinsel tag I see there?
How do you find those hooks "catching" wise? To me the point looks a bit long and closes the gape of the hook somewhat. It is not a hook we see a lot of in NZ, but I have found one guy importing them and I am curious to see what others findings of them are before I order some. ;)

Yes there is a small tinsel gold tag.
Those hooks are very good. Very well hold the fish. Some of the better hooks that I used to.

It's a cool combination and what a striking hackle. This fly would work well in lots of conditions, but I'm curious about Polish sulphurs. :geek:
