This one has a little brass bead, perhaps not so good if you fish for Trout but sometimes very good for Rudd.

Thread: Yellow 8/0 Uni thread
Rib and loop: Crystal Flashabou ( this material is phosphoresend, so in dark water it will gives some light)
Body: Possum in a loop of the Crystal Flashabou
Hackle: Metz Hen Ginger Brown

Beautiful fly, Ruard. I like the idea of the glowing rib. Neat idea.

I love the second photo. The bead of water in the eye of the hook looks cool.

Hi Mike,

It is a Metz hen ginger brown saddle. I bought it several years ago from my local Fly fishing store.
