Oh my! That is such a striking fly. Wonderfully "fishy" looking fly. It should make a great searching pattern.

Very cool. I tie versions very similar. I have always put the biots on the top though like a prince nymph and looped the tail like in the wilted spinach pattern.
I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.
