Pale Flymph

This is a fly I pulled from the wallet to try for a better pic. It's a little easier to see than when it was pressed against the felt.

Hook: Daiichi 1530 wet fly hook
Thread: 14/0 Griffiths Brown
Hackle: Creamy hen with a light grayish brown list
Body: Pale olive and natural seals fur mixed with creamy red fox fur, prespun on waxed, white silk.

As mentioned in the thread on productive flies in 2015, I started fishing this more often as the season went along and it served me very well all season. Somedays they are more likely to snatch an emerging light colored fly. This is a good one.

I would have to say that is a handsome fly, William. Really like the materials in the body.

The body and hackle look they were both produced to make this fly. I would be very happy with this fly

William,
You have done it again.
And I agree with Bill, that is exceptional hackle.

You've gone "yard" with this one. Absolutely out of the park. Colors, proportions and as stated above; that hackle is beautiful.

Really nice William. I had to purchase some natural seal after seeing this. I hate to say it, but I have grown rather fond of seal in the last couple years.

Stunning tie as always mate :) Lovely material considerations and symmetry, as already mentioned the hackle colour and quality is sublime. I'd fish it in a heart beat. I love using seals fur myself and enjoy coming up with my own dubbing blends.
