Here's another older pattern of mine for which the photo has disappeared thanks to you-know-who ...
In ancient times, cats were worshipped as gods; they have not forgotten this.
That same friend insists on that this is how spiders shoud be tied - over and under - wings and legs.

And if the hook point doesn't ride up (or down) where are the legs and the wing?
