I created the LG Flymph (aka Olive Hare's Ear Flymph) to be an imitation for the Lesser Green Drake. It is going in with some other flies as a Christmas present for a flyfishing friend of a friend.

I see nothing "lesser" about this at all; looks like enough to be really, really good.

Great Fly Bill!
It would work well on my streams for sure. Where's the like button anyway?

Bill,
This is a terrific pattern! It looks like it would also be a very effective damsel nymph imitation, for stillwater fishing.
I definitely need a row of these in my fly box.
Thanks for sharing.
