Snipe and Yellow

Found this in Roger Foggs book A Handbook of North Country Flies and thought it might came in handy on the Beaverkill come mid June or so.

Hook. Daiichi #1480 size 12.
Silk. Primrose.
Body. Primrose.
Thorax. Peacock herl.
Hackle. Snipe marginal covert.

That is such a handsome spider pattern. Beautifully tyed. Your style is very graceful. Reminiscent of the delicate natural insects.

I would love to get a peek into your fly box, the next time we get together. Just don't count them after... :twisted:

Tom, Did I see that lovely dressing on Facebook as well, in the soft hackle flies forum. If I'm mistaken, please forgive. Very nicely done.
