The Irresistible Wet

An experiment yet to be tested although I suspect a decent pattern in the film or just under of slightly faster water. Deer hair and English hare for the hackle.

My first thought was it is a simplified small Bomber. it should be a killer for tan caddis emergers or a swimming hopper. 8-)

Thanks Bill. Caddis was the intention. Hopper...maybe I could split the tail end hairs.

You didn't indicate a hook size, so thoughts went toward mini-mouse impressionist pattern.

It could also be a sophisticated alternative to a bluegill or bass popper.

I like it! Neat design. That is a nice hook choice too. Gives the fly a nice style.

Have you thought of tying any in black? Might make a great terrestrial imitation. The spun hare body has a nice plump beatle-like shape.

Let us know how this work for you.

Black is a great idea!.

This is on a #14 hook. I can see where that would be deceiving.
