I just tied up a number of these great BWO imitations created by John Smeraglio. I posted this earlier this year as a reply to a BWO post.

Smurf is the fly creator Smeraglio, not the fly! ;) :lol: I have never met him but got the pattern from Jack Dennis years ago. Smurf and Rick Hafele have done work shops on advanced nymphing techniques.
