California Quail and Beaver

Post by SenecaLaker » Sun Mar 01, 2020 9:46 pm

Recieved a care package from Theroe the other day. Several pieces of fur in it. One of the pieces was a beautiful piece of Beaver without guard hairs. Great stuff to work with. It has an amazing shine when spun on pearsall's. Thanks again Dana . More flies to follow with the materials in the package.

Dave - I've gotten a lot of use out of the dubbing block you sent me. The inlaid brass markers is such a classy touch.

Beautiful flies, btw. California Quail and New England Beaver. Kind of a coast-to-coast combination. ;)
