going to hit the upper Met this week with the Tenkara...last week of the season on that stretch of the river.

I tied up this stiff hackle wet fly after reading the linked discussion about the types of Tenkara Kebari.
It reminded me that not all of Pete and Big Jim's wet flies were tied with soft hackles but just as the kebari were tied on purpose as stiff wet fly hackles for certain water conditions and fishing techniques.
It also brought to mind the different use of both wet and dry hackle as explored on the Soft Hackle Dry...

I always fished both Grey & Brown Hackle peacocks when I was a kid so I tied up this version as well...
