Named after these interesting times...

Tied as a wee wet for fishing at this time of year in the local (although alas that’s not happening any time soon given the country lockdown...) and to imitate a small mayfly that comes off this time of year.
Hook is 14 to 16, thread of olive, tail and hackle of CdL hen, body is turkey herl ribbed with gold and a wing of partridge rump..

It’ll be the point fly in a team of two or three wets....

I like the overall profile and proportions. Reminds me of a Cahill pattern.

I like it. The colors look earthy, and flies like that have always done well for me.
