I'm happy you gave these a try Alan, and look forward to hearing how they work on your local brook trout.

What make and model hook did you use, and what thread is that? I really like the look of both versions. I'm a sucker for bleached starling. It has such a nice tan color for fishing flies.

The hook is a Partridge L3AS...spider hook #12...the thread is YLI #248.
