Thanks guys, it is a pattern I found in "Year of the Spider" by Philip Storey and tied a bit more robust. I think he says it is a Pritt pattern "Cinnamon".
I hate it when I think I'm buying organic vegetables, and when I get home I discover they are just regular donuts.

I believe the green collar is peacock herl. Is that correct Carl?

The Invicta an early 1800's pattern by Jane's Ogden has a Hackle of English Jay.

Is the body seal fur?

Yes, some nice bronze peacock sent to me a couple years back by a NZ friend.

That's a beautiful Invicta! That winged wet is very effective. Even better is the silver tinsel body version. Well done.
I fish wet flies with faith and hope, faith that trout don't require exactitude and hope that when my time comes, God will explain why wet flies work...
