Re: Prototype
How stretchy is the D-rib? I have some, but it is really stiff (hard to stretch).
Phenomenal pattern, by the way. I am interested to hear how it fishes. The slender profile should sink quickly.
What hackle did you use? I love the color.

Re: Prototype
Ray, I used CDL hen.
As far as sinking, I can sink a PFD catered to a 400 lb hoarder, with enough split shot.

Re: Prototype
I like it. I'm also getting into ribbed bodies like that with D-rib, or anything else I can find. D-Rib does alright.
I think your fly looks great. And I agree with Ray about the hackle.

Tyrell, I split the ribbing with you and Ray. It is in the mail headed out to both of you.Fishnkilts wrote: ↑Fri Jan 27, 2023 11:45 pm I like it. I'm also getting into ribbed bodies like that with D-rib, or anything else I can find. D-Rib does alright.

Thank you! You didn't have to do that, but I appreciate it very much.DUBBN wrote: ↑Sat Jan 28, 2023 10:48 amTyrell, I split the ribbing with you and Ray.
