If your morning coffee doesn't open your eyes, taking a look at that fly will do it. Marvelous tying, Norm. The herl butt and tinsel body are eye catching. So well done. The color combination is superb.

I looked up that book, Forgotten Flies, and I couldn't find one for less than $1,500. It must be a magical book.

Hi, Norm; serious question: do you have a vault under your garage where you store all these impeccably tied patterns? I mean, seriously, what do you do with all of these patterns? Don't get me wrong, I want you to keep right on tying and showing us what the Gold Standard looks like, right up until you drop dead, or run out of thread; ...just sayin'.
