Fly Fishing Guide to New York State (Mike Valla/Sept 2023)

I recently bought a copy of Mike Valla's new book entitled "Fly Fishing Guide to New York State - Experts' Guide to Locations, Hatches, and Tactics" (ISBN 9780811771689)/Published by Stackpole Books.

I was delighted to see Mike had published a couple of Mark's soft hackle patterns.

and my friend Pete Hornbeck (I used to build these canoes with Pete)

My cousin Terry "Tuck" Tucker showed up in the Adirondack section.

Mike included several of our friend Bill Shuck's fly patterns too.

Helluva book! (Congratulations Mike, on your latest publication. Wonderful job.)

Looks like another great book from Mike. Ray, beautiful dressings in tribute to Mark. Nice to see Bill's flies in print as well.

Delicious looking book Ray! I love the pics and the info about our past pal Bill Shuck! His tying was impeccable and his friendship was highly treasured by all of us on the forum!
Great job Mike! I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of this!

I'm a long way away from Valla's working water, but I'll buy his book just because.
