oops.. my reply didn't make the cut the first time.... Don't want you to think no one appreciates your beer chugging skills. I pretty amazed that the Utah crowd has allowed that beer label to actually be distributed in the state... and maybe it isn't... i've not seen it anywhere before. But, being a fan of a good porter... I'd certainly give it a try... but maybe with a glass.

There was nothing like that when I was at the Univ of Utah in SLC (1966-67).
3.2 in the grocery store, but you had to go to the state liquor for anything else.
All alcohol was prohibited on campus which inspired us and another couple to sit in front of our married housing apt drinking our 3.2.
When we spent the last 4 days of our 2015 trip in SLC, we were amazed at the change. 16 micro-breweries.
The sports bar down the street from the motel had 40+ micros between tap and bottle.
I saw one named “Chasing Tail Pale Ale” and said “That’s something I have experience at.”
A very nice brew.

It was a different world pre-winter Olympics, for sure.
SLC was a small town, in feeling when we lived there, while now, it is just another city.
I worked in the VA hospital while at the Univ, and as soon as all the breakfast cleanup was completed, all those nice LDS ladies would grab a cup of coffee and a cigarette.

I don't drink porter normally (but I do cook with it), but if that particular brew migrated to the far off northern reaches of far off northern Maine, I would buy it just on general principal.
...not sure I've ever drank caddis, but I've damn sure inhaled a bunch of the bastids.
