My thanks to ronr for giving me a couple of proven flies from his time in Patagonia!

This is my version of an Olive pattern limited by my available materials. I Hope it is close enough to tempt a few fish.

Hooks - Mustad 79580 #4 cut off at the bend followed by a Firehole 714 #6 Trailer mounted with a loop of 18WNB Sevalon wire bite leader

Eyes-Yellow Hareline Med Painted Lead Eyes
Body-Med UV Polar Chenille Silver
Collar-Krystal Flash Silver
Hackle-Olive Marabou
Wing-Hareline Rabbit Strips Olive topped by Sili Legs Perfectly Barred Olive

I am also tying it with a small lead eye. I think I will try it on the Deschutes as well.
A gray version will be next.
