purple and partridge and bwo soft hackled emerger

Post by newriverspey » Thu May 26, 2011 9:19 am

Gents,
I thought I would share these two patterns that I had success with on a local tailwater that I fish. Both are tied on a #21 tiemco 102Y. Any comments or suggestions are always welcomed. take care. Otto

REALLY like the purple. Both nicely tied.
Thanks for posting.

Both are great ties especially for that size...I really like the BWO.

What size spey rod are you casting these with? :P

Since you asked for suggestions...I suggest you tye up a dozen of each and sent them to me!!! (friendly humor / just kidding)

In all seriousness, they are both beautiful flies. I especially like the plump body on the BWO pattern.

Very fishy! No wonder you've had luck with them. You have inspired me to start tying in smaller sizes.
