Very nice.
Is the possum "direct" from the hide, or out of a packet? Cool colour and not unlike the buff possum required for some of the "Orphan Nymphs".
What was your method of dubbing, noodle, split thread?

I love the materials, and colors. This looks like a wonderful fly to fool some fish with!

That's a nice match with the hackle and tail. Well done

How hard can it be?

A striking photo of a well conceived fly.

Question - How do you like the Allen hooks? I have not tried them yet and was wondering if you could give some feedback.

Allen hooks a year ago had issues. The later Allen hooks were better and I haven't found any issues yet. But the problems with my earlier buys keep cropping up. I found one yesterday with a partially formed eye.

I just started using them, for the most part they seem nice, real sharp, good price. The wet fly hooks seem plenty strong enough but the dry's seem a little on the light side, I'll find out next summer.
